About Me

Hello!  I'm Aubree, one of the two traveling teachers.  My husband and I are both elementary teachers who left the Mitten a few summers ago for teaching jobs near the Emerald City!  We absolutely love our schools, students, and team teachers!  I have fallen in love with #growingfirsties and have remained teaching first grade the three years we've been in Washington. Brandon made a jump from Kinder to a 4th/5th grade Science Tech Teaching position this past school year.  While he loved teaching his darling Kinders, the unique SciTech position was also right down his alley and he is loving it! I am also finishing up my Master's Program in Teacher Leadership this June, so I am excited to use this site as a venue to reach more teachers.  It's hard to believe this beautiful area has been our home for over two years already- we never want to leave! My goal is to share our experiences as teachers and keep you informed of our adventures as we navigate the Pacific Northwest!
